Hi everyone,

Sorry I didn't get a chance to post last week. I was very busy getting my classroom ready for the beginning of school. We started back to school this past week. It is hard getting used to being back on a rigid schedule, but we are adjusting well. Joey has enjoyed being back at daycare with Deb and his friends. It is hard to believe I will only be working for about 4 months, then the baby will be here! We went to the Princeville soap game on Friday night. Joey had fun watching Daddy coach and playing on the field after the game. Then today was Grammy's birthday. Her and I enjoyed a girls' day after church. We went out to lunch, shopping, and to a movie. While we were out, Joey and Daddy visited Grandpa at his house. Joey had a blast playing on the tractor and riding his first bike with training wheels. Now his tricycle is his "teeny" bike, compared to that "big boy" bike.

Our Trip to the Northwoods

Hi everyone,

Well we just got back from spending a week in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. We had a wonderful time spending time with Uncle Ted (my dad's twin brother) and Aunt Mary at their cabin! The weather couldn't have been more beautiful, 70's by day and 50's at night! Some highlights from the trip were going to the zoo, the children's museum, fishing, riding on the pontoon boat, and just being together. Ted took us out fishing a few times. Did you see the whopper Steve caught? Just kidding, we all caught quite a few small mouth bass. Joey couldn't have had a better time on the trip. He loved every minute of the vacation. Now it is time to get back to work. I'll be working in my classroom this week and Steve starts football on Wednesday. Then next Monday we are back to school. Summer was full of fun!!
