On Monday, Joey had picture day at his tumbling class. He has been taking tumbling for 10 weeks and has really enjoyed it! We also did our usual swimming and playing with friends this week too. Oh, yes and we watched Daddy mow the yard, one of Joey's favorite things to do. He is finally getting on Granpa Gary's mower by himself and pretending. It is so heartwarming because we know Grandpa would be so happy! He would have had Joey on that mower all the time.

Hi!

Well we enjoyed a hot week in central Illinois and the heat wave continues! We went swimming at the Princeville pool a few days and the other days we played in the water at home. Joey is really enjoying his summer; sleeping in, watching his shows in the morning, playing outside, playing with friends, swimming, and bike riding. He had his first taste of corn on the cob and liked it! We went to the Corn Boil on Saturday but Joey didn't eat it there. He was too excited to be with his friends. Keep cool everyone!

Hi,

We did some fun things this week. Joey took a trip to the Glen Oak Zoo in Peoria with Mommy and Grandma. He was a little scared at first but really warmed up to it. He enjoyed seeing all the animals, especially the tigers and monkeys. On Sunday, we went to a birthday party for Jack, our godson. He turned 2 and is such a cutie. We had lots of fun playing and swimming! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I can't believe how fast it is going!

Hi,

Joey has experienced some fun firsts lately. He moved into a big boy bed and is doing great! We have never seen him so excited about something, it was precious. He has also been enjoying drawing with sidewalk chalk, another fun summer activity. Our neighbor gave Joey his first ice cream bar and he loved it! He definitely has the Johnson sweet tooth. And lastly, Joey saw his first fireworks this week. He let out shrieks of excitement. All in all we have had a fun week!
