Here I Go!We had a great spring break! It was wonderful spending so much time together as a family. On Tuesday, Steve, Joey, and I went to the Children's Discovery Museum in Bloomington. Joey had tons of fun! His favorite thing by far was the tractor! We also were able to spend one night with Aunt Gina. Joey loved having her over! Later in the week, Uncle Ted and Aunt Mary came for the night on their way home from Florida. Uncle Bob, Aunt Jayne, Keith, and Grammy all joined us for supper. Joey loved having so many people to visit with! He is very social, where does that come from??? Back to school tomorrow and into a routine. But we only have six more weeks until summer vacation! Yeah!

We hope everyone had a happy Easter! Our Easter was lots of fun! On Saturday, Joey went to his first Easter egg hunt at Grandpa Gary's football field. He wasn't really sure what was going on but quickly got into the action. Then on Sunday, the Easter Bunny visited our house. Joey ate lots of jelly beans right away! We went to church later in the morning to celebrate the true meaning of Easter. Later, we had a wonderful brunch at Kickapoo Creek Winery. All in all it was a great Easter!

We didn't take many pictures this week. I think it was because the weather was so nice. We spent most of our time outside, taking walks, and at the park. It was wonderful!! Only four more days until spring break, we can't wait!!!!

My New Bike!Joey had a great birthday! He turned two on Friday, March 7th. Joey had birthday fun at Deb's house and Mommy and Daddy's school. He enjoyed his birthday party with family on Saturday evening. He had the cutest "Little People" schoolbus cake and opened LOTS of presents. Thank you everyone! It was so special to see him have so much fun!!

New Look, New Pictures

I had to put this picture on this week because Joey looks just like his Grandpa Gary in it, crooked jaw, ornery look and all. The resemblance between Joey and my dad is amazing! What a blessing Joey's face is to look at each day. And I had to put on a picture of Joey and Grammy, they love each other oodles and oodles!

On Saturday we spent the evening celebrating Uncle Eric's birthday at Grandpa's house. As you can see Joey loved the cake and ice cream. He also received a few early birthday presents himself. But Joey's favorite part of the night was playing with his cousins, Keynan and Shyanna!

To end a beautiful relaxing Sunday, Joey cruised around the house in style before getting ready for bed! It was so wonderful to have the spring-like weather today. Steve and I both fought the flu bug over the last week and a half. Everyone is feeling better and gearing up for Joey's 2nd birthday on Friday!!!!
